MIA MIA often receives flowers. They are beautifully arranged and placed in beautiful pots. On anniversaries, we receive even more flowers. This work is based on the view from the shop window.
The flowers in the visual represent the customers' congratulatory messages to MIA MIA, and equally, they are a message of gratitude from owner Vaughn, manager Seigi, and all the staff to the customers. When the MIA team hands out flyers to customers, they convey their gratitude, and at the same time, even customers who don't have flowers will naturally express their feelings of celebration by visiting MIA MIA with this flyer, so I imagined that scene when I created the visual. And of course, as the designer, it also represents my congratulations and gratitude to MIA MIA.
The visual was created by selecting countless pieces of torn colored paper to look like flowers and beautiful plants. Just as there are many different types of flowers, there are surely as many feelings about anniversaries as there are people, from gratitude and celebration to feelings of celebrating the start of a new anniversary. I created this with the idea of visualizing feelings that are difficult to express in words and likening them to flowers. If seeing this visual makes you feel even a little happy, please distribute flyers to those around you and share your happiness.
