This original cap/hat, created by GENERAL THINGS x MIA MIA, features the words "NICE LATTE," a popular menu item at MIA MIA.
There are three types: white, latte color, and indigo dye.
The fabric is 100% cotton, made in Japan. The Oxford fabric is produced in Tochio, Niigata Prefecture, and is woven with uneven yarns that give it a natural, textured feel.
The more you use it, the more plump its appearance and texture will become, making it a piece you will grow to love.
The special indigo dye was done by Kosouen in Ome, Tokyo.
Using sukumo (indigo) from Tokushima, the fabric is dyed by hand using a traditional dyeing method that has been used since the Edo period, "natural indigo lye fermentation dyeing." By continuing to use traditional methods, no chemicals are used, making it an environmentally friendly dyeing method. Furthermore, indigo is said to have antiseptic and antibacterial properties, and has been a dye that has been deeply rooted in people's lives since ancient times.
